 Garland Patriots,

To take your Country back, you must first take your CITY back!

ALL politics start local. You don't have a Barak Obama President without the Barack Obama Senator from IL. You don't get the Nancy Pelosi Speaker of the house with out the Nancy Pelosi Congresswoman from CA. Citizens need to be active in their local areas to ensure that voters are informed and active in the community. It is our duty to get involved with the races that have a DIRECT effect on our daily lives.

Please direct your attention to our City Council, School Boards and other decision making entities! The time is now!

Example 1:  Did you know that there are Garland City Council Representatives that support Public Improvement Development proposals that would impose a new property tax for home owners? Do you want to pay for someone else to "update" their property?

Example 2:  Did you know that Garland ISD took hundreds of thousands of STIMULUS money to teach diversity to our children and teachers? Yet, there is not a sufficient supply of textbooks. And, speaking of textbooks, did you know that the history they are teaching our children is the history that progressive activists are creating?

Example 3: Are you aware that children of illegal residents get free school lunch? How many illegal residents do you know that pay school taxes? US Citizens that do not even have children still pay mandatory school taxes.

If none of these things are a issue for you, I would still encourage you to get informed and involved with the issues that face us, and more importantly, our children in the near future.
